EPABX Console, HCL, New Delhi

This project with Soumitri Varadarajan in 1996 was to rethink and redesign the established EPABX console essential to any office in the late 90s and early 2000s – and I daresay still very much in use in many offices across India. An EPABX stands for Electronic Private Automatic Branch Exchange—A private branch exchange PBX is a telephone exchange that serves a particular business or office. The first concepts explored Typology—that of a console, a computer and telephone – The concept was selected and developed to prototype level.
